Thank you for visiting our web site. We are an organization that represents more than 5000 millwright journeymen and apprentices, all of whom are members of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
We work throughout the 11 southern states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Our capabilities supply a host of industries with exceptionally safe, professional, productive work performed by jobsite leaders.
SSMRC millwrights are regarded as the best in the industry because of their unwavering safety awareness and skill sets, which are gained through the UBC’s legendary training programs. The SSMRC also incorporates mobilized training as a key strategy to keep its members on top of their game, where instructors travel across the 11-state footprint to deliver specialized training quickly, to prepare for jobsite needs.

The results of our work can be found throughout our 11-state service area. To make sure we keep the manpower in place to meet the needs of our contractors, we also operate an aggressive recruitment program, focusing on recruiting existing nonunion millwrights, military veterans, and technical school students.
