Congratulations to Southern States Millwright Local 216 member - and Vice President of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters’ Southern District - Dennis Donahou for earning his 40-year pin!

A member of the UBC since 1976, Mr. Donahou worked as a millwright, foreman, general foreman and superintendent on many power plants and paper mills throughout the country. In 1991, he was named a business representative until acquiring the Executive Secretary Treasurer position upon the creation of the Arkansas Regional Council in 1997.  In 2010 Mr. Donahou was appointed the first EST of the newly formed Southern States Millwrights Regional Council, leading 5000 union millwrights until being named Southern District Vice President in 2015.

Mr. Donahou is a life-long resident of Combs, Arkansas and lives with his wife, Dollie. They are the parents of two daughters and a son, and have two grandchildren.
